Back Part of this notion of actually adding useful tools we crave... What about the ability to render curves? Can everyone do this but us? There have been several instances where I have been working on more abstract projects and have had our designers laugh at us because Cinema 4D can render curves so nicely and we cannot render them at all. Whats the deal with that!!!! Why can't we have a line shader that we can attached to curves? Ofcourse we need to then be able to put lines in Render passes, control thickness, choose whether perspective influences thickness etc(all the basic stuff you have for controlling ink lines in the toon renderer). That would be a nice addition too.
Ofcourse Cinema 4D has one cool ass toon shader. Have you guys seen the sketch render that Cinema 4D can do? Wow.... Can't reproduce that in XSI...
