real time rendering 2004-02-07 - By pete massaro
Back OK
I had to try this. I downloaded Mad FX ... A very cool product. I set up a simple scene with a glass ball and an Arctic sky map

The movie is a region capture using snagit 7.0. I wish I could have done a higher res version but snagit barfed. Too much memory I think. Anyway, my jaw dropped when I tried this. If you've got the video hardware to make this go you gotta demo it! BTW they are working on a TrueSpace model importer .... http://www.mad-fx.com/downloads/downloads-plugins.shtml
I really hope Caligari figures out what makes this work and takes advantage of it.
