Simulating a chain whip

a chain wip is less like a cloth sim, more like a tail. If one was to do it
by hand it would probably be just by delaying rotational fcurves on
subsequent bones in a chain. Kind of, maybe. There's also the tail thingy;
I'd start there rather than cloth.

Subject: Simulating a chain whip

Hi

I am looking for advice about creating a convincing aggressive chain whip
animation.

I was asked to find a way to simulate it as it would probably look more
realistic than if an animator handles it.

Trying with Syflex right now but not really getting good results.. it seems
as if it's missing some of the weight transfer physic.

Any suggestion is welcome.

Thanks!

P.s. We tried with XSI Tails and it's really not working for us.
