Hi Guys and Gals
Softimage is always looking to give customers the best bang for the
buck, customers who come from different industries and who have
different needs. Now every release throws up new challenges of how best
to satisfy those needs.
We are always looking at what technologies will best suit our current
users as well as help us expand beyond our current user-base. We are
fully aware of our shortcomings, oh yes we are, as well as our
strengths. So if feature "ABC" has not made it in, it is nothing
personal. A decision was made based on all the prioritized data we
gather. It does not mean that "ABC" will never make it in, rather that
the demands of a particular release meant that other
features\functionality had a higher priority.
While we would love to make all our current users 100% happy 100% of the
time, this is not realistic. But we are always going to do our utmost
to be the best at that which almost everyone has to do all the time.
I am sure in the future there will be a similar thread started - I just
hope this mail will go someway to helping everyone understand the next
time.
