OK, never mind me....
I reinstalled 3.51 again, downloaded 4.2F again and installed again, now
both finally work again. Lot's of again.....
Off to an early beer, gods knows my nerves need it :P

Ok, after all my cleaning I reinstalled XSI Foundation 4.2, but now on
starting the app I get a "License failure" Error: There is no
interactive license available to run XSI. Also my 3.51 Adv. stopped
working :( (Floating license) No, I didn't delete any 3.5 related stuff
;)
This is turning into one frustrating friday.......
Any thoughts are welcome here,
