shader uninstall....oops.. 2005-04-01 - By Rob Wuijster
Back Hi all,
After a happy morning of repairing/installing/uninstalling/cleaning several versions of XSI 4.x to get things working again, I can recommend everybody the "jv16 powertools" for cleaning up the registry. It can create detailed lists based on search strings. Very handy when cleaning up a (XSI) uninstall.
Maybe you already knew this app, but it certainly did a very good job over here. I'm a believer in automated cleaning again :D
Cheers all,

Well..... I modified a copied factory shader/spdl and installed that as a "user" shader. After fiddling with it the shader didn't performed as planned so I uninstalled it. The uninstall apparently also uninstalled links to the original "factory" shader. Not gonna do THAT again... ;)
OK, off to a reinstall/repair.

Re-install XSI?
How did you manage to uninstall a factory shader?
