UV snapshot ??? 2005-03-31 - By Wayne Williams
Back I do the same thing as Oscar just with a different colored image. I make say, a 3000x3000 white image in photoshop and save that out. Then in XSI, I select my object and open the texture editor. There is a "clips" button where you can import that white 3k image. I then hit ctrl+p and change my UV wire color to Black. Align UV's to taste. Then go Edit>StampUVMesh. This will save your image out with the UV wireframe on top of it at 3k rez. Then just take this into photoshop, make it top layer, then set it to multiply. Long winded reply, but just wanted to make sure you got a full run down and didn't run into problems.

What i do is to have several black images of different sizes 1024, 512, 256, etc.
then i load that image in the texture editor and do the snapshot with it the command will use the image that its in there, and of course its resolution.
so just grab an image with the resolution you want.
