I downloaded the PolyTools and their descriptions make it sound like they'll
do things I want to do but I can't seem to make much happen.  I wonder if
you could come up with some simple explanations of how to use the tools for
us total amateurs.

If I can make them do what they seem to be designed to do I'm read to buy
them.

An example:  I created a slightly twisted cube nurb and converted it to a
poly making sure it had fewer than 200 polys or vertices. Then I tried to
un-tessalate it, thinking that means convert as many triangles as possible
to quads.  I have an old slow computer so this will be very usefull for me.
But I tried everything I could think of.  Nothing happened.

I tried everything I knew to make the edge extrusion work and it kept saying
something like "Solid Vertex Found".  I tried it on edges of planes and on
cubes.  I tried to convert a cube's face into a hole but I couldn't figure
out how to do that.  I'm not sure why.  I seem to do it by mistake often
enough. :)

I was able to make the knife tool work although I don't really understand
the options.

Barry
