SDS Control Cage - Offset plugin

SDS Control Cage - Offset plugin

Here's a question and perhaps a request. Is is possible to offset the control
cage of an SDS object so that they aren't right on top of eachother? I spend
quite a bit of time when point editing a control cage testing to see if my
changes are producing the desired results. I usually work in mirror mode, make
a few changes, weld, convert to SDS, and repeat as necessary.

It would be fantastic if you could move the resulting SDS object next to the
control cage instead of right on top of it to see the effects of point editing.
I know it would be a HUGE timesaver for me. I suppose my request is that if you
can't currently do this, would it be a difficult plugin to write?

Thanks,

Spencer
