About that Dobby Tutorial 2004-02-03 - By John Gaubatz
Back Wow, you are fast Ed. I will have to look at that CK Game Factory. I am downloading the demo now as I type. Watch it have the polygon editing for edges locked in the demo. ; )

Actually CK Game Factory just came out with a suite of polygon editing tools that allows you to sweep edges while in polygon modelling mode. Haven't had the chane to try them out yet, but they look really useful. Another one I'm excited about is the polygon draw tool which if it works the way I hope will be very exciting. 17 new tools in all.

I am just trying to understand what I see in the tutorial. The tutorial starts with a single polygon. To me it looks like a 'Plane'. It also looks like Maya has the ability where edges can be extruded (swept) to create the object. In truespace, edges cannot be swept, except for a nurbs plane. Are there plans in future releases to allow sweeping of edges on polygons? Or is there another tool in truespace that will allow this tutorial to be followed closely?
Thanks, John
