Mixer Question.. 2005-03-29 - By ozu's mailbot
Back The problem is that matchclip will add a clip effect layer, specifically the clip pose offset effect, which dynamically takes your entire character motion and offsets it in space before applying it to the character. This can't be done by moving keys arround in the fcurve editor, so merge clip will not work in that instance.
As a rule of thumb, as soon as you add some kind of effect to a clip (pose offset, clip effect, timewarp, ...) then you can no longer use merge clip on the clips and have a working result.
