the sharing is in someway possible i know its not the same as in maya
but if you use the same image clip between two materials.. if you change
the image
source of the clip, youll update all the materials using that clip.

image sources, is the link path to the image itself.
you can have multiple clips with the same image source
and each of the clips can have its own effects and each clip can be
processed
diferently on the fxtree too.

so if you use a same clip for two materials is like sharing the texture
node.
