Back there you go; we don't support HDR with an alpha channel either, it's non-standard. If you want to use a file format with an alpha channel.. using OpenEXR or something else.

I tried this and I get this error when converting from .hdr or .map from Photogenics to .hdr:
type rgba not supported by hdr format, using default type rgbe
Do I need to use some variable in imf_copy to correct this? Exporting to .ct and than back to .map or converting from .map to .map still leaves a noicon image in the clip properties.

Try using imf_copy to copy it back and forth
between .ct float and to .hdr.

I'm having problems exporting a modified HDRI image from
Photogenics to
XSI. It works fine and renders ok but the image clip property in XSI
shows a noicon image instead. Anyone have a fix for this? Is there
something I need to setup in Photogenics? Thanks.
Kris
