Hi Rob - what I have is XSI refuses to start, doesn't even come up in the task
manager at all.  So I uninstalled, reinstalled - nothing same problem.  So I
uninstalled XSI - run a reg cleaner - reinstalled XSI - same problem!!!  What
now - I really don't want to rebuild this thing!!!

In most threads about XSI not running anymore, the topic registry cleaner has
come up all the time. There's somsething about the XSI registry keys that
confuses all cleaners, and you will end up with a crippled XSI or one that won
't start anymore. NOt just XSI btw, more apps won't start after cleaning, even
Windows had it's moments....
I never use those automatic cleaners anymore, I'll do it manually, better
save than sorry ;)
