Repeating my request for help... 2004-02-02 - By Wakko
Back Hi Ricardo,
Personally, I'd use SDS. all you need is to draw the face, sweep it a couple times, add some edges across the face then pull them out. Here's what I got after a few minutes:

and after a level of SDS:

Quick and easy.
Hope this helps, Rick

On another note... I'm trying to model a Double Bass (http://images.google.com/images?num=50&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8 (See http://UTF-8.ora-code.com)&oe=UTF-8 (See http://UTF-8.ora-code.com)&q=double +bass&sa=N&tab=wi) My question is.... what's the best approach to making the FACE of the bass? I modelled a mean guitar back in the ts3 days, but the front was flat, so that was easy. A bass, however, is curved.. in more ways than one (http://www.netinstruments.com/hima/images/closeup_bass.jpg , http://www.netinstruments.com/hima/images/bass_against_wall.jpg , http://www.netinstruments.com/hima/images/panormo_doublebass.jpg ). My question is... are NURBS (*shudder*) the right approach here? Or any other suggestions??? Thank you all in advance for your advice.
