"System Out of Memory " - but is it really...? 2004-02-01 - By DRxDON
Back Hi Kris and Owen,
I'm not sure I know what you guys are talking about! :-)
I have a system that is about two years old; Asus MB with built-in Ultra DMA 100 and a 40GB Maxtor HD. I installed a dual boot system using Win2K and Win98 on two separate partitions and had no problems at all!
Kris, you have to have either two separate disks or two partitions on the same disk, one for each system. Also, you have to start with a "clean" newly formatted disk and install Win2K first and then install Win98. Too bad if you already have a single disk with Win98 and a lot of programs. If you want to save your Win98 system, you'll HAVE to get another disk. :-(
