Particle Event - Sticking

you could set the trigger to emit and disappear, the new particle you emit,
could be a carbon copy of your original with a new ptype that has 0 speed with
an emission rate of 1. ... then you could set age% deaths to dissipate or
whatever it is you are trying to accomplish

Is there anyway to modify particles after they stick to a collision object?.
I have a cloud hitting a cone like object and I need it to stick and then
dissappate. Once they stick, the usual controls (age, size, etc.) no longer
seem in operation.

 thanks
