XSI not starting up

I had this happen just recently. I tracked mine down to the addons
folder in my user folder.

Try just renaming your user folder and starting xsi. If it starts,
then add your folders from your old user folder one at a time starting
xsi after each one.

If it doesn't start up with a fresh user folder then I'm at a loss
without more info. Sorry bud
