Hi all,

just wondering if this is ³normal² rendering time for XSI ...

running 3.5 on HP XW8200 with dual Xeon 3.6 procs w/3GB RAM and nVidia 3400
card

scene I¹m rendering is very simple, 2 objects, one is just flat ³bars²,
constant shader, black, no shadows, no reflections, no transparency; object
#2 is a very simple model of a store credit card with image texture (TGA
file, 5.5MB), duration 900 frames, one light, one camera

render settings:
aliasing: min:0, max:3, jitter ON, Mitchell 4,4 (threshold set to 0.3)
motion blur: ON, shutter speed: 0.3; threshold set to 0.25, evaluate at
shutter speed, no shape changes
ray tracing: OFF
scanline: default
8 bit pic files 720x486

I don¹t use XSI that much (DS artist) so I might be doing something wrong.

I started the render yesterday at 8pm, it is 9:15 am now and it¹s still
rendering .... around 150 frames to go, is this normal?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Igor
