I have restarted, un-installed, removed the prefs, re-installed - no go -
flashes the splash screen and then poof!.

Hi All,
I know this has been asked many times before, and I ignored it - i have a
machine, recently installed, that suddenly has decided it does not like to run
xsi - anyone got any pointers to stuff that XSI might not like!!!
