Delete Hairs?

Delete Hairs?

You could select the point of the hiar and delete them, but not sure if this is
what you want.

 Subject: Hair: Delete Hairs?

I'm working on a furry animal that will be wearing clothes eventually. So far
I've been wrestling with getting enough hairs to make it look like decent fur.
I'm at 300,000 hairs with multiplicity 1 now and I have hair on his entire body
. Is there a way to delete certain hairs instead of using a cut map, density map
or scale? I'd like to be able to not have hair under his clothes and add more
to the rest of the body. This is my first time using hair for anything serious,
so I'm sort of stumbling around here.

 Thanks.
