Back ';' are used when working with jscript, while you're coding in vbscript. So maybe your scop has been made using jscript.
I don't remember if you can change the scripting preference for the scop somewhere in the interface. You can delete it and build a new one, or save the scop as a spdl - edit the spdl via notepad - reload it.

And this is the error message I am getting: Errormessage: ERROR : ';' expected- [line 1 in update code]
The code seems to be correct because if running only line 3 and 4 it works and the Select statement is correct too. I can only imagine it has something to do with the in/out connectinos Searched for tutorials but all I found was scripted in C++ (i don't really know C++ only VBscript)
