Back I really do believe that everybody is reading out of this post that I wrote what they wants. Remember "Pro" and "HiEnd".
1. If tS came product a duplicate Rustboy lets see it. 2. You're Pro Your family depends on your best work what will you do HiEnd or what? 3. If tS is HiEnd why nobody Id it as HiEnd? 4. If You are sub-contracted with a Hollywood Company what will you do? 5. HiEnd Application Professional work where do tS fit in? 6. Be honest.
The reason that one is a Hobbyist is that he thinks like a Hobby. The reason that one is a Professional is that he thinks like a Professional.
Please, Please Guys don't take this the wrong way. I'm sorry to say this but tS user are the only forum where you have to keep apologizing for a statement that a person makes.
Bottom line tS is tS and Maya is Maya and Softimage is Softimage that is a Fact.
P.S. I wonder what 3D Software Brian Taylor is using today Dave.

The artist, Brian Taylor, has had his work published on the Cover the 3D World (along with a feature article) and he now has a coffee table book about his project.
The tool he uses is....Infini 3D. No "brand name" renderer....In fact, it is not even supported or sold anymore and as such is a few years out of date. Go through his site and download some of the movies. The "making of" section is a wealth of tips on how to make low end tools yield high end results. I would stand his work against anyone elses.....and given that he has been given so much positive press for his outstanding artwork only shows that it is the artist....not the tool or the renderer.
So let us all side step to a new paradigm....Given that tS is so much more than Infini 3D, then with the right artist at the helm, high-end results are possible.
Thanks,
