SO W2K can't detect the installed drivers - geeze louise. GUess I can try it again, I can't remember whether I got that message. It did ask me whether I have an update disk, which I do because I had downloaded all the updates (up through about a little over year ago). I only hesitate because W2K screws up W98 before it stops installing.
If I get brave enough to try it again, I'll keep the printouts of your helpful and informative posts next to me :)
THanks!
