A long time ago, one of my dopey ideas was to have two or even three tracks
for tS:
(1) continuing to sell the older versions (3.X, 4.X) for a lower price, but
with option to upgrade - this could be great for basic learners (schools,
beginners, etc.) who want to learn to make nice 3D images but don't yet
need things like Facial Animator or other complex features;
(2) a "semi-pro" track, for smaller businesses and more advanced users;
(3) "Full Pro", which might include something like the render engine used
by Maya etc. - this would be geared towards the same people who use Maya
etc., and marketed to the high-end professional.

It'd be almost like having 3 "mini-companies" under the Caligari umbrella.
Sell older/more basic versions as "trueModel"
Sell trueSpace as trueSpace
Sell the super-pro as trueVision or truePower or something

OK, so that's my second bit of kookoo drivel for today <g>  I guess that's
enough torture for y'all <LOL>!
