I've looked at World Builder. Just that I don't have any budget for either, c'est la vie.

I remember that game meshes have to be very low-poly, and that the look is done with textures. At least, the "real time" games. The older "boring" Myst-type games used stills, so visually, they were very rich.

I prpb. shouldn't admit this, but I've never been much of a car person... ...and it's "politically incorrect" to mention an intererst in guns or other weapons =:-o <g>
For humans, I got Poser <cheat! cheat!> and I sometimes feel like it's cheating to use a tree modeler. But I do have a peculiar fascination for trying to model plants. Poss. in part because my photos make less-crisp textures.
Prob. what I need most isn't a new modeller, but a new computer that'll render the stuff I already can make =8-o
