QuickStretch (was QFE 's)

QuickStretch (was QFE 's)

In SI3D you could do it by plotting velocity and acceleration Fcurves, then
offset the Fcurves by a frame or two as needed to get the overlapping
action.  However, since XSI's Quickstretch doesn't have that feature, I
don't think it's possible. There is a plot velocity and acceleration
function as part of an object's transforms, but it's not the same as the
curves used for Quickstretch.

I've certainly requested this last tidbit of Quickstretch enough times and
I'd wish it come in someday as Quickstretch is pretty useless without it.

Subject : RE: QFEs

I am wanting to use Quickstretch to flex the muscles of a characters legs as
he walks.

What I want is for the QS to react after the character takes a step (i.e.
leg comes to a stop) but I am fining that the reactions mainly take place
when the leg lifts off to take the step.

Anyone have any suggestion as to what parameters would contribute mostly to
the desired effect?

Andre
