Dave this is just my opinion.
So here we goes.
I always thought that beside a good artist Maya and Softimage Rendering
Engines help produce such realistic images. And these Engines do not
come cheap. These HighEnd Big Boys has mentalRay as it Rendering Work
Horse for Photo Realistic Rendering. This engine use to cost more than
ts and all its plugins combine. I don't know what it cost now probably
more then the price of tS whatever.

Now for Roman to get the Professional to come on board he has to give
them a Race Car Engine (a much better Rendering Engine). That would be
bold move on his part, since the price would have to more than double to
support such a high price engine.
However I like this a Racing Engine in tS can you see the reviews this
alone will at less bring the Pros over for a Test Spin.
The down side to this is were would us tS Hobbyist go? Oh I got it
"trueSpace Personal Learning Edition? for $600.
