I am looking for TOP notebook in the range 2000-3000usd, mainly for work on my travels..... for XSI4.2
1. is 1GB of ram enough or take 2GB 2. gxf nvidia or mobility radeon ? 3. wich model ? dell, ibm, toshiba, alienware, fujitsu, acer ?
Any info is welcome....

Been using the FX Go5700 in a laptop for about six months without a glith. I have a few sopradic blue screens related to graphics issues but that's my bad for pushing the graphics driver a bit beyond it's tolerances. With unmodified stock drivers it works perfectly.
