Hardware: XSI and nVidia GeForce FX GO5700 2005-03-06 - By Alan Jones
Back Hi Kim,
It stuffed up within the first month or so, but the next day it was working so the repair people said not to bring it as they'd only replace it if it was failing at the time I brought it in. Never failed again until now. The machine is great when it's running, but a couple of hardware errors like this and it's a paperweight.
Something like 500 to get it fixed in this state - not really worth it for a 2.4ghz P4 with 512meg ram.
I'd suggest no one buys a satellite from ebay for the next few weeks ;-P
Cheers,
Alan.
