Hardware: XSI and nVidia GeForce FX GO5700 2005-03-05 - By Sylvain Moreau
Back I saw a Qosmio in a store a few weeks ago and looked at pictures on it, pictures I know well coming from the web. I was surprised by the bad quality of the display, everything looked washed out, high contrast with no detail in the higlights and shadows. I am not saying this is a bad machine, my tests lasted 30sec and I did not try to adjust the display. As I understand it the screen is optimized for everything, watching TV, working in spreadsheet, etc... Optimized for everything is generally an interesting oxymoron, this is a just a warning, try before you buy.
