subprojection and 3d bump issue

subprojection and 3d bump issue

Hi Alan,

The entire RT is still throwing curveballs at me sometimes, every time you
think you got it entirely figured out, you don't. At least till now ;)

It seems I figured it out, sort of. I'm now piping the bumpmap generator in the
bump of the first material directly, instead of the material node. So now it's
mixed with the texture bump/TP before the output of the mixernode goes into the
material, and it keeps my 3dbump Texture Projection intact.
Don't know if this is the best way, but it will do for now. Any more insights
on this will be welcome.

cheers for the replyes,

rob

That's your problem. Because you've got it set to texture vector it's
using the co-ordinates of your subprojection in there. You could
switch it to intersection point, but then if your object is animated
in any way your texture will swim.

Cheers,

Alan.

your projection is create in the Texture editor ?
