Does anyone know of a scrip or plug-in to handle the hundreds of materials XSI creates in scenes coming in from other apps?? Where Maya had a single material assigned across mult objects XSI creates a new material and cluster for every material on every object.. Is there an easy way of simply calling up every material or shader being used on a given group of objects, say all the materials being used on a single car in a city, and allow every material on be edited.. ie,, changing the amb or reflectivity values of every shader being used on said car.
RV_Material Editor seems to get you close but doesn't show only materials being used on the selected objects.. Am I missing something?
