Can't be done as far as I know. "Resample stretched hairs" is just for
fixing the distance between stretched points.

Cheers,

Hey,
I'm using guide hairs for a kind of chain/rope-simulation in 4.2, wrote
a script that creates clusters of all hair-points and attaches nulls
them and then sets up 2-point constraints between them, attaching the
links of the chain. But I'm going to need more points on each strand.
I've searched docs, the net, but couldn't find anything.
'Length->Resample streched hairs' seemed like it would be it, but it's
not adding any points to the guide hairs. What am I missing here?
