Dear trueSpace customer,
On behalf of the entire staff of Caligari Corporation I would like to wish
you Happy New Year 2004. While we introduced a number of good products and
services in 2003, our plans for 2004 are even more ambitious. Expect a lot
from us this year, both in trueSpace line of products as well as proTeam
services..
We would also like to thank you for your loyalty to trueSpace as we realize
that there are many good choices on the market for 3D authoring tool.
However, I feel that Caligari community is special. Just look at our monthly
galleries, Big Break contest or new gameSpace Forums! The quality of the
artwork and the level of peer to peer network of professionals supporting
Caligari community on daily basis is best there is, in my opinion.
I founded Caligari 18 years ago with a vision of collaborative 3D authoring
and unlike many CEO's, I am actively involved in new product development
intimately to this day. In order to address your ongoing concerns, I am
reading TSML and Forums every week and I frequently respond to your
questions there. Even if I do not, you can be sure that your posts are read
as there are many other people at Caligari who do the same.
We always strive to make trueSpace more robust, faster and even easier to
use. At the same time, our R&D team is working hard under my leadership on
"new stuff" because I deeply believe in the power of the innovation. In the
past we introduced many "firsts" in trueSpace: direct manipulation, visual
libraries, 3D controls, real time acceleration and immersive 3D workspace
among them. This technology was developed so you can create better 3D art:
illustrations, animations, designs and games. There will be more this year,
perhaps much more, I believe we barely scratched the surface of what is
possible and our greatest moments are still ahead of us.
