trueSpace6.6 SP1 -- ProTeam?

Hi Tom,

Shouldn't registration be accomplished automatically when online purchases
and phone orders are made?

This e-mail notification sounds like a goof up to me, I think it'd be a
no-brainer to send out the notices automatically to Pro-Team members
especially since they automatically get the latest updates, right? Or at the
least auto-register them as new updates come out and are downloaded. I
certainly don't remember getting a mail-in registration card or link to
register for any of the products downloaded with my Pro-Team membership.

I wasn't in any rush to get the patch so it didn't bother me not to have
gotten the notification (and no, I didn't bounce any e-mails), but what
suprised me was that the patch was not included in the ProTeam files
section... also it'd be nice if the ProTeam files were sorted by release
date... but that's a different issue. ;-)

Hi Barry,

Sorry to hear about problems being on the list. Things seem ok right now,
checking your records, we have this email address and it seems active. One
thing, though, records show purchase of tS6.6 upgrade, but the last
registered product was tS5 - this is a good time for me to remind everyone
that registering your software is a good thing to do, as it ensures you get
the latest news and the latest savings for the version you own.

This could be another cause for people not to receive their upgrade
notification. It is important to register :) Registration info and 'how to'
goes out when you purchase, with the note reminding you that registering
gives you the latest upgrades, etc. This isn't directed at Barry, but is a
general request for all to make sure they keep their registration up to date
:)

Let me know if you still have problems staying on the list, Barry, as it
ought to be working fine just now.

HTH!

I've been unable to get stay on your mailing list for a year or more.  I
have no idea how many good offers I might have missed.  Each time I hear
about something I call and make sure I'm put back on it.  Each time they
tell me I was removed because my emails bounced.

I've spent time going over this with my ISP and they do no blocking or
filtering.

I've had no problem like this with anyone except Caligari.

I now have a new email address and I've given it to your people on the
phone.  However it's just a new address through the same ISP and the old one
is still valid.  I have hundreds of spams to prove it. ;)

I'd like to find out why I cant stay on your list.  When I call they put me
back on and say that's all they can do.

I do get my TSML emails.  I was using the old address and changed it to the
new address today.  It's never really been a problem.

If there is anyone who will deal with this to try to solve the problem and
not just put me back on the list I would surely appreciate it.

Barry
