Back Matt or any others.
It doesn't work. By unchecking the Wrap U and Wrap V works for stopping the texture from repeating or tiling, but with the projection type of texture mapping, it still projecting the texture on both sides.
1. Create a NURBS cylinder. 2. Apply a projection texture mapping - Planar on Z axis. 3. Uncheck "Wrap U" and "Wrap V".
Try this, you will see what I mean.
