Dave this sound like a good ideal kind of like a prorate fee.
Just think about it if your subscription expire December 20, 2003 under this current plan, and you want have the money until January 20, 2004. Ouch!
BRT ============================================================================ =======================
Unfortunately, at $895 ProTeam is a daunting proposition for previous subscribers for the simple reason that you are asked to pay close to twice what you paid last year for any new material in the upcoming year. $895 is probably fair for first time subscribers who get to benefit from the old and the new material, but not for repeat subscribers who have already taken advantage of the old material. Think of it this way: After having paid $495 for tS5.2, would you then pay $895 for the upgrade to tS6.6?
So buying ProTeam now is probably a smarter move for existing subscribers....if you have the money. Unfortunately, I don't....I could in a few months after the Christmas bills and home improvement bills are paid, but not now. But at that time, the $895 cost is just too prohibitive.
Could their be a lower upgrade cost for past subscribers? Face it, I am not going to get the full $895 benefit from ProTeam after having already benifited from the Fundemental series of course, existing materials and models from my previous subscription. Will the new material be twice as beneficial to what has already been released? Will the tS7 upgrade cost more than $400? Will there be an additional 12 new master's classes in addition to what has already been released?
Caligari has kept all of its promises regarding ProTeam, but at these new prices I think it is reasonable to start demanding more in the way of concrete information before making a purchase decision (e.g. number of new courses expected to be released in 2004, anticipated upgrade cost to tS7, etc.).
Please also consider special "upgrade" pricing for past ProTeam subscribers.
Thanks, Dave Angelini
