Zpic or Depth Pass?

Zpic or Depth Pass?

Hi guys, just wanted to open a liitle debate, since in
my work, experienced people said that is better
working with Zpic than doing depth passes, that
decisition left me amazed since in my opinion Zpic is
not such a controlable way of doing a depth passes, as
using the constant density shader in which you can
customize it to the needs   of your take, and then
render it in a graphic format and making life easier
to the composition people. You should have in count
that this is for a TV Serie that has at least 60 to 80
shots in 3d, and there is only one compositor, and
dont forget that Zpic is a numeric format that in
that case should be converted to graphic.
Maybe im wrong and thats why i would like to hear
your opinion out there!
(Ive also used Zpic in the old SI3D days, but now
happy with Depth Pass!)
Happy New Year for all!!
Francisco
