Back It might sell a few more copies of ProTeam if Caligari would let us in on what they have planned for 7.0. The "when" isn't as important as the "what". Tying to use "you get 7.0 in the deal" without knowing what's in it is kind of a tough sell.

Console yourself with the thought that you get tS 7 and the whole collection of courses (often indispensible for understanding work flow issues and tools) and libraries for your current $495.
