Back Rendering now working fine. No missing tiles. Solution was easy to overlook. Have never had the option of a render slave until now so jumping from SI3.9 to XSI 4.0, then quickly to 4.2, I simply forgot about the 4.2 upgrade/install on the 2nd machine. Interesting though, that random missing tiles during renders was the outcome. Finally! One inch of snow here in Salt Lake City last night to enhance our holiday merriment. A brown Christmas when you live in a snow zone is a huge disappointment. John
