  | | | browsing a 3D scene | browsing a 3D scene 2003-12-08 - By emmanuel asset
Back Hi all, I am building a scene for an architect. His client asked for an animation but he would also like to get a solution to visit the whole scene by himself using an easy-to-use tool. I have to give him a full working "package" with a navigation program and the scene at the right format. I was first thinking of VRML but most of browsing plugins I know are not very easy to use or even install. A standalone software might be better. I tried GLview http://home.snafu.de/hg/ <http://home.snafu.de/hg/> but it is quite old now, and some objects doesn't shows well when we go close to them. What other solutions do we have to visit a 3D scene made in tS, using DirectX or OpenGL for a smooth navigation, and with a nice UI ? Thanks in advance, Emmanuel
