A Different Santa

Stan,

I think the BW version evokes more of an emmotional connection with the time
period (circa 1947 when the movie "It's a Wonderful Life was first
released).

But what the image lacks are the signs of age that a 56 year old BW photo
would have.    If you wanted to place the viewer in the time frame of the
image, then use the color version.  But when you use BW then you are placing
the viewer in our current time frame and having them look at an old image.
Therefore, the image is too clean for that context to work.  It needs
scratch, grain, cracks, etc.

Still, regardless of the colors used....it is still a wonderful piece of
work.

Thanks,
Dave Angelini
