another tail / model issue

another tail / model issue

Would I be right in thinking that there is no way to work with
referenced models with tails inside the model? I know the issue with the
tail having to be created within the model so that the mixer sources are
created within the models mixer - this is a new issue.
I want to have access to the animation mixer with referenced models for
obvious reasons. So I turn on 'Animation Mixer' in the 'Local Mods to
Save' for the ref model. Doing this stops the springs from updating -
they update fine until you then reload the scene :(

Am I missing something or is this a tail limitation at the moment?

cheers,
phil b
