Some AVI codec require very specific height and width dimensions (or
ratios).  You get render errors if you do not use them.  DivX is like
that and so is Soresen.  Do a web search on the codec you are using and
see it it hasa restriction like that.

Subject: [TSML] Run time error when Rendering avi's

Regardless of what is in the scene or what plugins I am using in tS6.6,
whenever I want to render an avi file, I always get this error:

"Runtime error 226 at 00004F7D"

This error occurs right after I hit the "Render" button in the "Render
to File"  dialogue box.

It occurs with at all resolutions (even the default ones listed in the
drop down box).  Motion blur, audio parameters, and field rendering are
off.

This only occurs when I render to an avi file.  I can render an
animation to a sequence of jpg or bmp files without error.

Any help?

Thanks,
