Models getting corrupt 2004-12-15 - By Chris Marshall

Hi All,
I have a scene that is getting nastily corrupted. ie more than 1 object is
now giving errors when loading.
The only thing I can think it might be is that the objects are in Models
that are part of other hierarchies. ie. the models aren't at the top level
of the scene, they're parented within other objects.
Surely this couldn't cause objects to become corrupt?
Has anyone else seen this? We're on 4.2
