Well I guess I was the only one with this problem.
This is FYI in case someone else runs across this. I am just learning so this
is probably 1st grade stuff to most of you.
I found the problem in the TSX folder. When I added the 6.6 upgrade to 6.5 the
upgrade added another folder named FA. In the FA folder was only one file, a
FacialAnimator tsx file with the same name as the one in the Facial Animator
folder. The tsx file in the Facial Animator folder was dated 3/21/2003 and the
tsx file in the FA folder was dated 7/25/2003. I changed the name of the file
dated 3/21/2003 and copied the file dated 7/25/2003 to the Facial animator
folder then deleted the FA folder. All works great now.

I have had trueSpace 6.6 for a few months and all has worked well. I have
used facial animator with no problems. Due to problems on my end I had to
reinstall trueSpace. (The look ahead function quit working after I had added
some plug-ins, not sure which one did it though). After uninstalling
trueSpace and reinstalling 6.5 and adding the 6.6 patch that I downloaded on
7/31/03, the Facial Animator will no longer work. :( (Look ahead
works great now though) :)
When I click on the Facial animator the error message states: No generic
head found ! The installation is incorrect !
It worked fine before with 6.6 and I have uninstalled and reinstalled 3
times today. Is there an .ini file that might need changed or something of
that nature? 6.5 facial animation works great until the 6.6 patch is added.
Would someone provide some direction on what I need to do? I am just
learning 3D with TrueSpace.
I am on the digest, I will check back tomorrow.
