Thanks for your elaborate response RorrKon. Phew, I see your problem with the higher end apps. I want to create a semi-professional DVD animation which will certainly contain special fantasy effects - hard to describe really. Do you think TrueSpace and its plugins will do it for me? I have a fairly jacked-up PC: AMD Athlon 2200 with Windows 2000, 1 Gb RAM; 160 Gig HD space and a Geforce 4 (128 Mb RAM) video card. Then also, do you know of any online tutorials on using particles in TS? Thanks again Cobus
