I have been an SFX hobbiest for almost 30 years (it was what got me into
CG), so I not only know how certain images can be created digitally, but
electro-mechancally as well.  Nevertheless, your question is a very
difficult one to answer unless I know exactly what you want to create.

But in the way of a short answer, then I think it is safe to say
"yes"...given enough time, talent, ingenuity, patience, perseverance,
hard work and inspiration, then anything is possible with any
application.

So in order to "really" answer your question, you are going to have to
give us some idea of what type of effects you are looking to create (can
you relate them to examples found in the movies?), and you have to tell
us what is your limiting resource (is it time, talent, perseverance,
etc.).

Thanks,
Dave Angelini

Subject: [TSML] Particle plugins?

I want to create a semi-professional DVD animation which will certainly
contain special fantasy effects - hard to describe really. Do you think
TrueSpace and its plugins will do it for me?
