Ugh... the new math. 4.5 years (!?) between updates.
I guess its the price we pay for working with a general purpose tool. SO many tradeoffs .
Wouldn't it be interesting if they offered a buffet version of Director - you could order an updated version of the 3D xtra, or a bug fixed and optimized #text xtra or...
Or wouldn't it be interesting if they open sourced Director (but I guess there is too much licensed technology in there for that to happen...)
